StashAway joins EmpowerHER Asia Leadership Forum 2026
Women today aren’t just saving – they’re putting their money to work
In celebration of International Women’s Day 2026, StashAway is supporting more women in building confidence in their financial decisions and gaining access to systematic investing as a pathway to long-term wealth.
Financial planning today goes beyond saving. It is also about giving your money the opportunity to grow, so that it can support your goals and needs through every stage of life.
StashAway joins the EmpowerHER Asia Leadership Forum 2026
StashAway participated in the EmpowerHER Asia Leadership Forum 2026, organised by The Crest Haus. The event brought together more than 180 leaders from across Thailand’s business, finance, innovation, and professional communities.
As part of the forum, Stephanie Leung, Chief Investment Officer of StashAway Group, joined a panel discussion titled “My Wealth, My Decision, My Way: Empowering Women Through Personal Finance.”
She was joined by Fern Sirathaya Isarabhakdi, Founder of Wealth Me Up and host of THE STANDARD WEALTH, and Lyn Kok, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mula-X Thailand.

Key insights from the discussion
A central theme of the conversation was the shift in women’s financial mindset – from simply “saving money” to “putting money to work” through thoughtful, consistent investing aligned with long-term goals.
Many women still face barriers to investing, including limited time, competing personal and professional responsibilities, and a lack of confidence when making investment decisions. Yet qualities such as discipline, patience, thoughtful decision-making, and attention to detail can also serve investors well when building wealth over the long term.
Investing does not have to begin with predicting market movements or waiting for the perfect time to enter. A more practical starting point is to build a plan that reflects your financial circumstances and invest consistently towards your goals.
DCA can help build investment discipline
Dollar-cost averaging, or DCA, was one of the investment approaches discussed during the session. It involves investing a fixed amount at regular intervals, without trying to predict when markets will rise or fall.
While DCA cannot eliminate investment risk or guarantee returns, it can ease some of the pressure associated with market timing and make investing easier to incorporate into a long-term financial plan.
Staying invested consistently over a sufficiently long period also gives compounding more time to work, which can play an important role in building wealth over time.

The most important first step is to begin
Building wealth does not have to start with a large sum of money. It can begin with setting clear goals, understanding your risk tolerance, and selecting an investment approach that you can follow consistently.
At StashAway, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to invest and build long-term wealth. With the right mindset, tools, and support, investing can become simpler, more transparent, and more systematic.
We would like to thank EmpowerHER Asia and The Crest Haus for creating a platform that encourages meaningful conversations about women’s role in financial decision-making and long-term wealth creation.
